Printing and Mounting Images

Option 1-

An option for printing my images is to use the collages printer. The costs with this would be having to buy my own printer paper. I think I want to use matte paper but I thought I would be best for me to compare the prices for matte and glossy incase I changed my mind before. The problem with this is there will be excess paper, which will be a waste of money and unfortunately I was not able to find any smaller packets. It would however allow room for mistakes.

Option 2-

I could use a photo printing website, this will ensure no wastage. I will have to choose the sizes I want my images, this would help to keep all my images roughly the same size. Looking at the prices for Sim Lab the cost would also work out cheaper. I plan on having 4 12×12″ and 22 6×4, amounting to £5.40.

When mounting my images I want to use my money wisely, as my small images are roughly 6×4. I will only be able to cut out two of my small images so A3 will be a batter option. I don’t want my images to come out too much from the wall so having it 3mm will be good. I want it on foam board as I feel it’ll bring the images out more, as if they were just on the wall it may blend in with the white.
